What are Botox treatments and how do they work?
Botulinum A injections, commonly referred to as Botox are the mostly widely used method of achieving a more youthful look. Lines that appear with movements such as smiling or lowering eyebrows are targeted with this treatment. These lines are associated with movements of major muscles on the face, and by carefully injecting Botox into key areas you reduce the movement of the muscle and therefore the appearance of these lines.
Over time, the repeated movement of these underlying muscles can lead to the appearance of deeper lines in the skin, and earlier treatment with Botox can help in reducing the onset and severity of these lines later in life

What are dermal fillers and how do they work?

The dermal fillers used here at Surrey Aesthetica are all based on hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is natural substance that is found in the body, and careful injection of it into specific areas of the face increases the volume in that area and offsets the effects of aging.
